An experienced Door Automation Engineer is required to join our expanding, specialist company which provides an exciting opportunity for the candidate to develop their career.

Working with prestigious commercial clients as part of a specialist and friendly team, this role would suit an experienced engineer that has a strong knowledge of automation/door systems and a desire to deliver a professional service that is appreciated. Engineers work closely with the rest of the team to plan and execute jobs in a timely and professional manner.

The Role

A specialist engineer role dealing with reactive works, planned installs/maintenance and survey requirements for all aspects of Door Automation and Door Operators with a particular focus on Commercial Door Solutions. Collaboration with the rest of the team is expected and encouraged to ensure that jobs are planned for, prepared for and executed in a timely and professional manner.

Job boxes for each job are prepared for you after your input and provide you with all the items requested to complete each job correctly. These job boxes are collected from the service workshop in Cranbrook.

A smart tablet is used on a daily basis for recording and distribution of job completion/job notes.

The Location

Predominantly Kent, Surrey and Sussex for site works with some project related work in prestigious London sites. The head office is based in Cranbrook, Kent where collaboration on job preparation and stock collections take place.

Requirements

This role requires an experienced Door Automation Engineer with proven knowledge and verifiable practical skills. A sound practical knowledge and experience with associated systems such as Access Control, Locking and Safety Devices will also be important. You will need to have good interpersonal skills coupled with an attention to detail and professionalism.
