Door automation provides the freedom to move in and out of a building for all. Correctly specified and installed automatic doors can prevent access to the unauthorised, provide flexible control of access to specific client needs and improve access by their ease of use and conformance to the requirements of the DDA (Disability and Discrimination Act).

At Poyntell we can add automation to existing doors or provide a completely new installation of automated doors with side screens and panels as required. We can integrate existing or new access control systems along with high security mechanical or electronic locking.

Options on design provide flexibility of solution. Sliding doors are ideal where space in front or behind the entrance is at a premium, bi-folding doors are useful where the opening width is narrower than usual. Glazed panels, provided tinted or clear, around and above the doors provide improved natural light distribution, a feeling of space and pleasing aesthetics. Solid panels and framework can be provided in a range of RAL colours or colour matched to existing surrounds or corporate colours.
Standards play an important part in both the initial install and the maintenance of automatic doors. All our installations, servicing and maintenance works are carried out in accordance with BS 7036 PTS 1-4 and all our engineers are accredited automatic door engineers.
