Deciding who or what is allowed to enter or leave an area and at what time are the building blocks upon which a successful access control system is based.

Modern technology allows us to perform the function of controlling access in a variety of ways to give convenience and ease of use to the authorised whilst presenting a barrier to access for the unauthorised.

Utilising smart chip technology we are able to provide access control without the need for mains power or wiring, access control that is contactless and ‘hands free’ in operation, access control for people, vehicles or assets.

We can introduce access control to a door just by changing the lock or the handle set or we can integrate electronic locking components with sophisticated reader technology and wireless communication. Our access systems can be tailored to suit the need of each client whether it be one door on a restricted budget or a multi-site application which demands a high level of features and functions.

Sometimes features are needed that aren’t traditionally thought of as part of access control. Perhaps a fire Exit needs monitoring so you know immediately when it is opened, perhaps a laptop can only leave a certain area with a particular member of staff or personnel need to be automatically logged in and out of a certain entrance without them having to present their access card or fob. These features and many others can be integrated into an access system at the start or in the future to provide the ideal solution reflective of need or budgetary considerations.

The technology and access control system is only part of the story though as most installations still require good quality and well specified physical locking to compliment the access control system whilst automation of certain entrances/exits is often a consideration.
